Wow. So I had just started this blog as an outlet of feelings, not really like the others as a place that I thought people would read... (not that I mind). I was just looking back over it and found that people had commented! and were reading it! So, I guess I'll catch ya'll up on where I am right now.
I no longer work at Dollar General, I got fired back in November. I am now a stay at home housewife, doing some housekeeping for some people on the side. My main job now is to take care of my home and my husband, and to do genealogy & crafts!!! I have started doing more genealogy volunteering, working on both www.genealogytrails.com/kan/woodson, and www.findagrave.com. I have also started up a 4th blog (I know...lol) just about genealogy (it didn't fit into any of the other categories... it can be found at: http://gravetalker.blogspot.com/.
Hubby and I have been married for 3 years! Wow... it has flown by. We are still in the cute little house with a big yard. We expanded the garden just a bit this year, and are hoping to put in a second raised bed herb/salad garden, since I'll be home to tend to them.
Well, I think that will be all for now. I am looking forward to seeing if anyone is still reading!

Wow... I really stink at this
I was just looking over here and discovered that it had been almost a year since I had posted on this particular blog. Alot has happened since then. I became the Lead Sales Associate at my Dollar General. DH is still working for the rehab facility that he has been at over 1 1/2 years now! We're both so busy but are still trying to get gardening and other household chores done. The garden wasn't quite what we had hoped for this year, but it was a good learning experience for next year. The house still isn't organized, but it's getting better. And now that I have a computer, I'm going to start selling all our junk we don't want online! Money to pay bills and less clutter, my kind of a deal! Well, I would update more but it's getting late and I have an open to close tomorrow! :) I will update again soon (hopefully sooner than the last time!)

We've Moved...
Wow... It just hit me that I haven't posted on here for a while. Well it's kind of been a whirlwind since then. We found a house to live in while we are still looking for the dream house. This one is a one bedroom fixer upper that sits on 3 city lots! We are working on putting in a garden that will be 60 x 30 feet, flower gardens on either side of the porch, and around the mailbox. We live on a dead end street, so it's so nice it feels like I'm in the country again. We don't have washer/dryer hookups in the house yet, the landlords are working on it. For right now, we have them sitting on a concrete slab outside of the back porch with the washer hooked up out there so we can still do laundry. We have a clothesline in the backyard, and my wonderful wash is hanging out there as I type. The house is still full of boxes, with a pathway in between, but soon it will be a lovely home. Tomorrow I am working open to close, so it won't be then!

Dreams of a house...
Someday...We're looking for a house to rent while we are still here. We want a house in the country, preferably with at least 5 acres, a barn and a cellar. (I know... we know what we are asking for... and that's why we haven't found it yet.) We want a clothesline, and a pond (but that's not a selling point). I would like a huge kitchen, and nice size living room, at least 3 bedrooms, and a dining room big enough to have dinner parties. I want to be able to have 2-3 gardens; an herb garden, a flower garden and a food garden. The herb and flowers could be combined if I had to...Just a dream for now..

Dreams...
These days I spend alot of time dreaming. Dreaming of the life my husband and I will have, dreaming of the babies we will someday have, dreaming of the farm yet to be. This will be a chronicle of that. My dreams, prayers, hopes and aspirations for what is to come.
